Our striking blends the best of boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and self defense concepts to create a functional striking program. We have designed our program in such a way that it can satisfy multiple needs like weight loss, confidence building, self discipline, self defense and practical martial arts.

Striking is a great way to get in shape while learning real skills that can help someone manage dangerous encounters. We put a heavy emphasis on fundamentals that work for everyone instead flashy tricks that only exceptionally acrobatic people could even attempt. We don’t only teach you how to use all of your body to produce powerful strikes, we place an even greater emphasis on realistically evading and blocking an opponent’s attacks. The game of striking can be best summed up as I touch you and you don’t touch me.

Our functional striking program is based around the idea of maximizing paired work. Just like in our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program, by doing all of our drills and techniques with a partner, you gain greater feedback and the fun factor increases dramatically. Solo drills are encouraged for home practice but when you come to class you can expect everything to be interactive and engaging. Anyone can pound away on a heavy bag but moving after a live partner forcing you to cut angles and think tactically better simulates real world experiences.
